I've gotten my make up chair from last year and it was definetly a must have for every Make Up Artist like me especially those who have scoliosis. I have light scoliosis that makes it harder for me to do make up on another person on a bending position for long time. I got my make up chair on a good deal from a make up artist friend who sells make up equipments.
Since the day I had it, my back pain during make up gigs weren't as much as it was before. But the problem with this chair is that its made of wood. Yes it's foldable but not like the aluminum one that you can fold much better and put it in a bag that you or your assistant can just carry along. Another problem is, the wood is not that sturdy. So when I have clients that are a little big, I would have second thoughts on making them sit on my make up chair.
Now, Im in search of a heavy duty make up chair that's made of aluminum and better yet a side table that comes with it. Saw this in amazon and how I wish they ship this to the Philippines! Else it would have to wait till my next visit in the US!
